So flukeing the premier league once is a better achievement than getting promoted to the top flight winning that division at the first time of asking then the following years winning 2x European championships on the bounce add a charity shield,European super cup and an intercontinental cup and two league cups to that as well.all of that in the space of two years,and winning the league once is a better achievement?
If fester win the league next year and do well in the champions league then it will come very close.

Their achievement by comparison is much more difficult.
Back in the day you only had to beat Liverpool or Man Utd for the league,
for the European , you had to win a handful of games against some of Europe's minnows and you were near enough in the final.
Indeed take Malmo for example .........!

The prem has been massively inconsistent his year with the top clubs being garbage.
O yes and back them you had 1 sub and a squad of 16 players not like the massive squads they have now.

Leicester winning the league is no way better than what forest did, they have to win the european cup next year to get half way there and that aint going to happen,( would be nice if it did). the so called big 4 have bought there trophies with billions spent, so no real achievment there. Leicester are doing it the propper way, with a team of real players, not primma donners and ***** foot mard ****s. But the one to beet them all is CELTIC, they won the european cup with every player comming fron glasgow. including the sub. and only one allowed at that. a club may do it again without billions but to do a celtic is impossible

In todays money, NFFC spent the equivalent of £4.5 million to win the league. Lfc spent £35 million this year alone.
Hardly comparable.
I am glad to see them win it though.

The foxes is better because of the financial gulf between the rich & poor.
Back in the day Forest got a 50/50 cut on away gate revenue ie,half of man utd's regular 50,000 crowd etc ....
This reducing their spending power & increasing yours.
Also the TV revenue was split fairly.
Also teams that were relegated from league one (premiership of the day) did not have parachute payments.
Todays teams have extra millions to spend in the championship , making it harder to get promotion for those not supplemented by such riches.
In short, the rich were not as rich & the poor not as poor , the gulf in cash not as great so a better chance of competing for the silverware..........
yes Leicester's Achievement is by the far greater !!!
