    Why?

Why can we play like this now yet be so abysmal on Saturday?

Poor management. If we'd played this side on Saturday we would be at Wembley.
We need to play with this intensity EVERY game not just when we've been humiliated and our professionalism questioned.

Why bring Darren Bent on as late as the 82nd minute ?
And I see Paul Ince Jnr is still thinking everything revolves around him.

Story of our season. Playing some silly tactics when high tempo destroys teams. And we have the players. It's that simple really

I wouldn't say they were silly tactics at all. Fairly obvious the players were tiring, you can't play at that tempo for 90 mins.

Damn shame we could n't have had half an hour or more of that tempo last saturday - but tactics have to take account of the fact that a team cannot sustain that tempo for 90 mins, wheres the guile the craft and wtf was camara doing on the pitch at all??

I think tactics were pretty much faultless by us. Went at them, scored two goals in the first half, shut their crowd up. Had Bryson converted early in first half it could have been a different story. Pace was always going to slow in the last 20. At the stage it had to be about monitoring who to change and when. In the last 10 of a game like that, tactics pretty much count for nothing. Just got to let the players have a go. Well done Derby I say, bloody good effort. Would like to see a few tweaks to the side and Darren kept on next season.

So you overlook the gutless, **** poor performance last saturday then? tonight makes up for that and Wassall's redeemed because of that? priceless, and that doesn't take into account the crap thats been on show for the majority of the season - still if we want to remain a nearly team then Wassall's your man I guess!
