Roy Hodgson Names His 23-Man Squad For Euro 2016

I think Hodgson is taking a gamble including Henderson, Sturridge and Wilshere after they all have suffered an injury hit season. I can understand why both Danny Drinkwater and Andros Townsend would feel disappointed not being included, but when an initial squad is announced, the squad has to be trimmed down to a final 23-man squad, - view external link

Jack Wilshere is a good player, but he could get injured any moment. I think Drinkwater deserved the spot because of his play over a longer period of time and Wilshere is just now getting back. But that's the breaks and not everybody can be included.

******* typical. If you play for Man U, Arsenal or Liverpool you're in...... regardless of injury risk/ playing time or experience. I would probably have gambled with Sturridge but either Henderson or WilShere along with Rashford would have missed out.
