I'm surprised it's taken this long for Cellino to get rid of Evans. No manager or head coach is safe with Cellino owning the club. - view external link

Steve Evans wears his heart on his sleeve, a larger than life character and all the games i've seen between Wolves and his former clubs Rotherham and Leeds United have been entertaining. I don't think it would be a bad shout in the future for Evans to manage Wolves. I also think Pearson, now at Derby is out of our range in terms of the type of manager/head coach Wolves attract.
Even now i still look back and think of a missed opportunity in appointing Steve Bruce as the man to replace McCarthy.
I'll tell you what, if '71 (because you are bloody quick) can show a photo of Steve Evans a year ago when he was a walking heart attack to the Sky Sports interview today...
Well done Steve Evans, all that's left is the alcoholics nose.
Yep it's hard to believe it's the same bloke!!

Looks like Garry Monk is getting the Leeds job. Bad decision on his end IMO. He could have waited for a more stable position in the Championship to open up (like ours). He's going from Swansea, where they have a set structured way of doing business and he can know what to expect and who to expect it from, to Leeds where I suppose they also have a structure - everyone bow to Cellino's wishes, no matter how ill informed or illogical they are. I'd guess that Monk will be out of the Leeds job by this time next year.
Can you believe Karl Robinson at MK turned Leeds down last week, before they had even sacked the fat man.
Can't blame him. He's got a job for life as long as he's challenging for promotion to the Championship and becoming close to a yo-yo club between those two tiers. Why go somewhere like Leeds where it seems like it's promotion-or-bust and they never seem to get closer to promotion.Originally Posted by Acido
It's a gamble for Gary Monk that's for sure, but he has to take another job sooner, rather than later. he's still there this time next year then has done well.Originally Posted by MichiganWolf
