Stubbs and Broadfoot - the sectarian divide

Stubbs managed Hibs (Catholic club). Broadfoot notoriously on the other side of the sectarian divide. Do you think Captain Kirk is in line for a contract come Friday night?

Don't think many Hibs fans would now agree that they are a Catholic Club

Let me correct you assumption. While Hibernian originated from a Roman Catholic church in Edinburgh's Cowgate the club would not accept they are a 'Catholic club.'
Only two clubs put any importance on such things, Rangers and Celtic, that is where their money originates and still comes from.
As to a divide between manager and player, there are worse reasons for such.
It is no surprise to Edinburgh folk that Rotherham have struggled with Broadfoot in the side, he is not known as 'Clubfoot' for nothing! I suspect he may soon be shown the door for footballing reasons soon.

More of a social club now, with a good pint, since the Father stopped taking his share of the takings.

    A daft question IMO
Why on earth would he even consider taking sides on something that he isn't involved in or is Stubbs planning on fetching in McClean ? :/

We actually struggled without Broadfoot when he had a 10 game ban.
Perhaps Edinburgh folk would like to take a few games in over here
