    Euro 2016 Prediction League

    Euro 2016 Prediction League

The 2016 European Championships kick off on June 10th and, by popular(ish) demand, there will be a corresponding PL competition and, as ever, all are more than welcome to play - the more diverse the merrier!

The "official" home for this competition is the Leeds United Mad website, but it may also appear on the Derby Mad, SideBeforeSelf and Regdafish sites.

The format of the competition is simple in its, errrr, simplicity...

Fixtures will be posted according to the day on which they are scheduled to be played.

For the purposes of this competition, the first listed team is the "home" side, the second is the "away" side.

    For the Group Stage

Your job is to predict the finishing scoreline for each fixture at the end of the regulation ninety minutes PRIOR to the game kicking off.

[b]If you predict the correct outcome (e.g. you predict a 2-1 home win and the home team wins 4-1), you score three points.

    If

Not sure if you wanted this on here or not - if enough of you do, I'll put the fixtures up here as well - otherwise it's running on LeedsMad if you want to "dirty" yourselves.

    * Well, they were up. You'll now have to enter via Leeds Mad.

Orgoner you are welcome to do this but do it on a single thread. Mass posting of almost identical post and drowning out discussion on other subjects will be treated as spam.

Why did you go ahead and delete the Group posts and modify answers to this thread when several Derby posters had both asked for and already posted entries (with threads following the exact same format as past Euro and WC competitions) before I'd had the chance to copy them down?

That doesn't seem like moderating for the masses to me.

Orgoner - let me introduce you to Ratty - he lives by his own rules (and no, before you ask, no-one can explain what they are other than they normally contradict the view of the majority....)

Fair enough - I have read a few "contrary" posts of theirs in the past.

I'm less bothered by the threads being removed (at least one poster on "my" site suggested they put into a sub-forum), I'm just irritated that the posters involved may think they've been ignored and may not realise their predictions have been lost until they would next logically need to post.

    Oh well.

    I still need the jumper.

My predictions have all been deleted...as indeed was my post complaining about the fact that my predictions were deleted. C'est la vie under this regime. Seems like a RATXIT referendum might be needed!!
