    Watching all these Euro games....

I keep thinking that most of the teams I am watching look capable of beating England. So many of them seem so much better than us at passing and ball retention.

Well spotted. You could call it Bladder retention.

Only watched the England game so far, better things to do on the Island Corky. However I shall watch this afternoon's game with interest. Come on England, show Mr Bale what passion is.

C'mon LDB England don't do passion.

Forget passion. It needs our players to be courageous, dare to fight, defy difficulties and advance wave upon wave.

The right team won in the end, but I had long given up hope of a deserved winner. I could have killed Rooney for giving that free kick away, then Hart for his clanger. For me, like Pompey often last season, we lacked urgency and played far too much tip tappy football. However given that we are now on 4 points I am looking forward to Monday evening. However I've plenty of chores to do, on my return from the Island, so watching a game before that will be a Non.

I broke my summer resolution and watched the Germany v Italy penalty shoot out. Reminded me of that painful Monday evening at Villa Park, what a long drive home that was.
