I had a chat with a board member from the star and they really like think they can give us a good run for our money. They have signed "6 quality players" and there manager is hoping to win the lowland leauge this season. Its going to be good to see skelton and the new lads for the first time and mybe a couple of trialists. Hopfully a few will make the trip to watch this local game.

Gretna 2008 also have ambitions to win the Lowland League by signing 6 new players - 3 from Workington Reds and
1 each from South Shields, Carlisle United and Jack Dickinson from Queens.

Did hear that Jamie Hamill was rather OTT with the way he spoke / shouted to the young Queens players . Think he needs to look in a mirror first before slagging anyone else off
