    Talking My view on brexit

Feck what where the English and welsh thinking and anyone who voted leave.

Firstly,if you voted because of immigration, what fecking idiots.

Speaking as an immigrant myself to Canada and how I went through the points system which the leave campaign wanted to replicate, you get 10 points for your profession if it is in urgent need.
So as a catering worker I got 10 points ,if I wa a brain surgeon or nuclear technician,I would only get 1 point as they don't need them, tradespeople would also get 10 points.
Maybe if locals would do jobs like restaurants or plumbing,we would'nt be needing immigration, but because of their lack of wanting to get their hands dirty,we will always attract immigration.

Canada is a melting pot of vast amounts of immigrants and our crime rate is very low, most crime here is by born and bred Canadians, sorry for breaking that stigma immigrants have been receiving from far right politicians.

Secondly trade deals,Canada has been in talks with the EU for the past 8 years on a trade deal, trade deals don't happen overnight and the U.K. Will have to start talks on deals that will take years.

Hopefully Nicola sturgeon can somehow keep Scotland in the EU,if not I fear Scotland will suffer years of damage

White English working class voter from Northern town here my friend .

Clearly you haven't a clue about why the vote went the way it did , the white working class from the old heavy industry heartlands are the reason Brexit happened , the ones who have had no voice , treated as an irrelevance by the Thatcher and Blair governments and carried on by the rest of them .

This isn't racism this is simply two fingers up to the effects of migration that keep wages low , rents high , schools hard to find and an NHS stretched to the limits , all this introduced by unelected Eurocrats and aided by a neoliberal labour government , well fuq you .

We've had a belly full of it and this time we were heard .

Give me a factory full of Poles, Romanians, Bulgarians and Hungarians any day over lazy work-shy gobby idiotic English. This isn't racism either - they are just diddies

Yeh let's go it alone and gain independence except for the small matter of having your hands held by 27 EU members and then strangled of your newly gained sovereignty .

    Whose the diddy here ?

not just an scotish thing then, also an english thing, I also get told they would rather have some knut from a shytehole of a country than an utter knut of a Welsh man like me X but our company doesn't employ scots as we would rather employ people from mars than utter plebs like you lot X

The reason why your country is in such a mess is because of all the white collar corruption that sent your countries politicians to bring in austerity policy's,nothing to do with immigrants.
If you got the locals to get of their ar ses and work in construction and restaraunts, you would'nt need all the immigrants, but until then you will always need immigration.

Maybe we should send all the English back from Canada,I' would gladly replace them all with immigrants from the EU.

Too many easily led slack-jawed yokels, primarily though not exclusively in rural england, were convinced by liars that the big bad politicians who were ignoring them were all based in Brussles. Sure, some of them were, but the mob who feigned interest in the plight of the ordinary working British man, were the ones who ignored them for decades. And guess what - those self same politicians will go back to ignoring the ordinary working British man all over again now that they have what they want and go back to being bigger fish in a smaller pond.

The frightening thing about the whole Brexit campaign shows just how many ignorant and/or racist people are in Britain and they only need the surface to be scratched before they come tumbling forth.

Wow , let's recreate the battle of Stirling shall we .

Your biggest flaw is to believe that emigrating to Canada from the UK is the same narrative as the mass migration we see in towns such as mine , different gravy my friend .

If I were to start a new life in Spain then I'd move there for the Spanish way of life , the pace of it , the weather , culture and I'd learn the lingo and so on , my Union Jack shorts wouldn't be coming with me .

What we have in the UK is glorified back packing , young Poles , Slovaks and Romanians here with no intention of integrating , here to earn money and then go home only to be replaced by yet more migrants and so the production line of cheap labour never ends .

You can't talk to them about workplace unity to fight for better wages , not interested in anything other than to undermine their English counterpart and grab everything for themselves , they have little interest in standing with us and improving the workplace together .

Little wonder business loves em , but where does that leave us who still expect weekend pay enhancements and wages that provide a living .

As for lazy English , if you think the Eastern Europeans work any harder than us then you really are deluded , as for the benefit culture , provide jobs that provide a decent living whilst addressing inequality and the next generation may have something to shoot for .

Whereas what we have HERE, are young (and old) Poles, Slovaks, Romanians et al who ARE interested in integrating, who have made a new life here, who have got up off their backsides to go in search of opportunities while their "English counterparts" who are very conspicuous by their absence are happier on the dole while whinging about immigrants taking their jobs. There is no bias here - nationality does not matter to me when it comes to hiring, but the fact of the matter is that when job ads are put in the paper, on local radio and on websites, it is minority eastern Europeans who are willing to step up to the plate when their "English counterparts" are MIA - or perhaps they all have jobs already here...
