    Now Let's Get Moving

Good news that May will become PM this week and not have to wait till September. So now let's tell the EU we wish to invoke article 50 and start the process of leaving. In two years time I'm sure the majority of people in the UK and possibly most of countries in the EU will say it's the best thing to happen to the EU.

Not right bothered about it being anything to the EU to be honest, My vote was 100% for what was best for Britain (remain, as it goes) but there is (IMO) a pleasing 'decision made, now lets get grooving/moving' feeling emerging - Notice how R-R's head honcho Warren East said just that in many many more words on the radio this am, whilst confirming that yes, the people of Derby have their own minds and don't just slavishly obey what was after all only a pointer and only to 5% of Derby's population.

Mm dont think thats going to happen, we dont even know what the deal is yet, dont have the negotiators in place, its hardly a sensible approach to rush such a crucial decision, whatever happens it needs to be well thought out and plans in place - you seem to think its a very simple process and indeed many people in the Uk may think the same, all i can say is thank goodness they arent running the country!

Nothing is happening football wise Es***...since we got Pearson in place it's the quietest summer I can remember...but at least it's proved that we at DCM can hold intelligent debates about other current issues. There's only so much you can say about Burnley's possible move for Jeff Hendrick but I think the Brexit/EU/May/Blair/Iraq debates have been impressive.

Plus it all really irritates Angry ...but then he just can't resist joining in

Absolutely agree there is clearly a wide disparity of views but the debate has been held in a good tone. I'm sure as football starts up again, it will become the main topic on here, but I expect Brexit and what happens in the next couple of years to be a live and interesting topic!
