    Lasley misses Rangers game!

Haven't got a clue what sort of team we will field on Saturday against Rangers.Keith Lasley is still suspended,Moultt is reported to be missing through injury.Midfield at present looks threadbare and goals look as though they will be difficult to come by.Lets hope we can find the answers before league gets under way.

If I'm honest I really couldn't care less about the Rangers game or the so called new format of the league cup. It was an @rsehole of a tournament in this format in the 70s so Ill be treating the mini league sections like pre seasons friendlies and giving them a miss. I'd rather we took care of all our injuries and suspensions in this revamped dross before the real action starts.

Failing to get past the group stage would be a blow - people have rightly lamented our recent cup form, I don't see why being knocked out of one of the only two trophies we could every win by August would be considered anything other than a black mark on the season.

That said, we have been unlucky both to draw Rangers and play them first - I wouldn't risk much on this single game but we need to be winning the next three to progress.

Whilst agree Rangers match too soon and could get pumped. I may be mistaken but thought "cup runs" were welcome throughout our season. Are we now being selective to which cup run we wish success? Personally I'd take ANY cup run that results a final.
