Where's the extra revenue being spent?

At the end of last season it was announced that the new Sky/FA deal would be generating extra millions for clubs..... some were predicting between an extra 3-4 million to Chamiopnship clubs...

IF this figure is correct then on top of the 4 million we got last year the question has to be asked .... where is this new revenue being spent? ...(assuming the figures are legit)

No stadium expansion (costs approx 2 million) No new training facilities (costs approx 2 million) ??????

The club didn't see fit to gamble that bit further on Bradshaw..... correctly didn't panic buy and give Millwall a ridiculous asking price for a player... no signs of a quality signing coming in.....

We offload Best £8,000 a week and Derbyshire £7,000 a week but don't go that extra mile on a player who's bagged 40 odd goals in two seasons... admittedly in League one but you have to take that speculative risk if you wish to progress so shoot me down if you like I can take it but I see no forward planning from the club whatsoever....

As a fan who has spent thousands of pounds over almost 50 years watching the Millers I am becoming to feel somewhat dejected at the current state of affairs this pre season....

Can anyone make my point of view feel any brighter? Yours optimistically Brin.

Running costs 2 season ago was 5.5 million. I'm guessing the 4 million from being in the league plus income from club covered the yearly running costs. So the 1.4 million bid on Gregory plus approx 500K in wages would have took 1.9m of the additional 3+ million then 500K plus 500K in wages on bradshaw would have covered the rest. Obv these have not happened so on that basis we have 3 million to spend on players n wages

Oh god. I know of one fan who has spent many millions of his pounds in the club, has built us a new stadium and provided three seasons in the Championship, made offers that smash our record transfer fee... and is getting moaned at by fans before a competitive ball has even been kicked.

You have to despair. Can we wait until 10 games in before we all start moaning, pretty please?

Apart from the club doesn't run on air I'm guessing some money is going into the training ground (Rome wasn't built in a day)

Well I never would have thought one fan would have spent loads of money over the years

Maybe the money will mean that ASD lighting won't have to 'sponsor' us this season for millions of pounds!!!!

John there is no need to skit comparing the chairmanship millions as opposed to my thousands.....be civil please and look at my post objectively....I'm merely pointing out the obvious that plans A and B are dead in the water definitely plan B as he is at Barnsley....

Plan C. What exactly is plan C?

Answer me this question.... Have you ever seen our build up to the start of the season be so pear shaped regarding team structure and size?

Moan? I'm stating the obvious that we are in the mire....

'Can we all wait until we are 10 games in before we all start moaning' ...... There's voicing concern and then there's moaning mine is not the latter....I would love to see us set off to a flying start that would allay all fears but looking at the set up with less than three weeks to go I can only imagine it will be a serious challenge....

Not paying the price for Bradshaw...financially astute or simply not willing to go for it and speculate? He was obviously on the radar as a good proposition or we wouldn't have made the enquires we did.....Only time will show....
