What's everyone's honest opinion on him?

Hold my hands up and admit I'm probably wrong, but I can't help but feel like he's only starting to hopefully catch the eyes of some clubs to get some money for him? We blame the defence time and time again but he does let in some fairly soft goals, surely the amount he's conceded last 2 seasons can't be making scouts interested? I can't see scouts sitting down and saying well the defence is at fault for every goal he concedes so we'll sign him?

What's wrong with Dave Richards? We've said for a while now we need someone to be vocal, I'm fairly certain he did not shut up for longer than 5 minutes in the second half at Nantwich & personally, the defence then for those 45 minutes looked a lot calmer and cohesive. It's rare to see Ben shout, unless it's at a CB for a mistake.

With a shambolic defence and such a porous midfield, it is no wonder that Garrett has let in so many goals. Whilst he has let in one or two soft goals, he has certainly had to make more than his fair share of saves. One criticism I do have is that he does not communicate with his defenders as well as Richards does.

Ben Garratt is excellent. He has saved us from total embarrassment on numerous occasions. However, percentages dictate that under so much pressure mistakes will be made. It's that simple! I think he is untouchable and any criticism by an Alex fan is totally undeserved.

All young goalkeepers make mistakes (and a lot of older ones!) but Garrett is, for me, the best talent in the team. Now given our current predicament that might not mean as much as in other years but I still rate Ben.
