    Shout for kelly

As you guessed from title. Big shout for Kelly on Saturday. Over lapped well with forde. Worked tirelessly at both left and right back covered well when needed
Best defender out of the five on show.

Agree with a few on other thread. Thorpe did OK when he came on but he's not a modern day fullback and it showed going forwards.

Quite a few from what I've seen on social media won't agree with that.

IMO though I thought Kelly (always liked him) was having a very good game upto he had to swap sides (when Mattock went off) wasn't has good and made a few mistakes.
I put it down to losing his concentration when he had to swap and changing his game plan but yes he was best defender on pitch

Kelly and Forde worked well and Kelly was our best defender and a bonus going forward.. If we'd reacted to their man going round quicker, or not had 3 on one man and then no one at left back we'd have kept a clean sheet

Don't agree Kelly & Forde on the right doesn't work. Kelly defensive wise is ok at R back, not L. Going forward he's lost. Forde he's no G Ward.

Kelly and Forde worked very well together particularly in the first half hour and will probably improve as the season goes on.
Gwru we all know you don't like Kelly for some strange reason but that doesn't mean you have to criticise him every time he plays. Constructive criticism is fine but give credit where it's due as well.

Kelly to me was man of the match against Sunderland, did his job on Saturday against wolves while playing right back, best defender, but out of position at left back after Mattock going off injured.
