    Modern football money.

My club just signed Andre Ayew for around £21 Million and god know what wages he will get. Over £100 grand a week no doubt.
I not complaining but it's getting silly.
Man Utd spending £89 Million on a player they bought back..Reported £275 Grand a week salary!
As i have said before on here i am quite happy watching Sunday morning football down the park.
    Silly money.

Tricky mate : it's not just silly but criminal. Now you see championship clubs paying dozens of millions for mediocre players. They won't be happy until clubs like mine go to wall (No pun intended)
For me the worst part about it is that most premiership club fans can't even pronounce correctly the name of their players!
    Talk about losing your identity!!

Ps: Have you been to the Olympic stadium?

Mate i was born in Forest Gate and used to play on the which is now called the olympic (London stadium) .
It was a railway depot called Thornton fields before they re. developed it .
It was a dump to be fair.
I worked there as a trainee and met my future wife who worked as a railway pa at clock house railway station.
We live in Fratton now and i work for south west trains.
And we got a little daughter who is nearly 3 years old so no i don't get the chance to watch my club at the moment...Hopefully one day again.Plus my Mrs is a Palace fan

BWFC are you referring to that team adopted by those yanited players? I think they have created an unreal non league team with too much publicity and taken the team into a place that is not true to the non league ethos. I am sure there must be many true non league teams that would value your support. Just my own feelings on Salford from afar and if you are enjoying the experience then good luck to you.

Hi Mate , you have made a few good pts TBH , however i was watching salford yrs back tbf ( i few good mates of mine once played for em , they couldn't afford me ! ) but yeah i hear ya , i do go to other clubs though , but not as often as i once did , our kid does some scouting around the north west , so i tend to go with him ( every other week )
Reckon salford may have shot there load now TBH , lets see ....

good luck in the new season eh
