Wolves v Huddersfield Town Matchday Thread

Both sides have had a good start to the season and today will be a decent test to see how far Wolves have come. Hopefully we will see a performance similar to the second half away to Birmingham City.

Interesting to see that Iorfa will play CB next to Batth instead of Hause. Both Dom and Hause seem have to put forth some inconsistent performances this season (not unexpected of CB in their early 20s). Coady seems to be willing to play wherever Walter puts him. No typical forwards on the bench. Imagine that'll change after the international break as we've brought in Gladon.

He seems to have done ok since he left.

It's obvious now Jackett's instructions to him was hug the touchline at every opportunity and then fall over at every opportunity.

I think VLP's big problem was his utilization by Jackett. He never seemed to have a ton of issues when he was on loan to Brighton or Huddersfield last year. Not saying I would take him back or think he'd improve us, but I never really thought he was as bad as his performances here.

Seems like Bod is isolated again. Walter has made some good in-game adjustments most of this season, so I'm curious to see any halftime changes and modifications he'll make today. Seems like it's almost all Huddersfield.

I'd like to see Walter make one or two early changes. Maybe time to make a Latin infusion. COYW !!!
