I don't think commitment by the players is an issue.

Really? I bloody do...last night we saw commitment from Keogh, Hughes and Camara - for the first ten minutes. They may have been bad but they at least tried. Half hearted from the rest at best.

To see commitment may I recommend today's RL Challenge Cup Final. Guaranteed commitment (and skill) from every player on the pitch and they're all paid a pittance compared with that shower of s*** that 'represented' us last night.

I think he meant that they are bewildered, rather than lacking in commitment.

They ought to take boxes onto the pitch and hide there, cause they friggin hid from any possible requirement to take responsibility!!

Thats exactly the point - our shower get paid huge money in compariso to RL and man in the street. So no need to try. Wages structure needs to be amended to pay by results but in the lunatic economy that is football it wont happen. Premiership gold may attract some effort but to many in a promtion team it just means no first team football as more mercenaries arrive.

Only seems to be our lot that are regularly paralysed by fear or inertia though Rog. Liverpool and Tottenham showing plenty of commitment at the moment...likewise teams like Burton and Burnley, who are both underdogs in their respective divisions, seem to find plenty of fight but in performances like last night, away at Barnsley, home at Hull we show nothing at all.
