Anichebe, Macheda, and maybe Chamakh are the only ones I would even consider out of them, and even that's because we're so desperate!

No it isn't if you are contracted in the window you cannot register for another club until the next transfer window.

The only players we are now left with to potentially sign are the free agents, the ones not registered with any club, until the transfer window re-opens in January.

So we've got the fat, the unfit, the injury prone, the bad apples and the ones whose ego's are bigger than their talent to choose from.
