    MillersMad Matchthread - The Millers v Nottingham Forest

    Wow! That came round quick didn't it?

    I have to be honest I thought that 175 completed passes for a football team is woeful. It takes me back to when the Sunday morning team I played for were getting hammered the morning we all got hammered. 4 down after 20 minutes we started to count our passes out load. we eventually made it to 17 and scored. We thought we were on a real winner when we scored again. We were just taking the micky out of anyone that gave tha ball away. At 4 - 3 we were knacked and ebded up losing 6 - 3 bit we deserved what we got for our alcohol consumption the night before. We weren't prepaired you see and we all took responsibility for it.

    I really hope that we can turn this bad start to our season round! But is it a bad start? Have we done exactly what we are capable of with the players we have had available?

    Tonight is the night when we can show everyone that we've been treading water

    Team
    Camp;
    Fisher,
    Fry,
    Wilson,
    Mattock;
    Halford,
    Adeyemi;
    Taylor,
    Allan,
    Brown;
    Ward.

    Is it strong enough? Fecklington is on the bench!

    BRING IT ON YOU REDS!!!!!!!

    Evening (again) Frog.

    Blackstock still not fit enough even for a sub's spot. Hope we can get Frecks on fairly soon (ie after we've scored our customary two goals but before we start to fall apart!)

    Are we wrapping Blackstock in cotton wool? We need players like him in these kind of games.

    I've been thinking about match fitness. What determines how match fit you are?

    Brown had never played at this level but was deemed to be match fit.
    Halford played a game and had an injury then he was ill but was deemed match fit
    Newell had an op and commentated on Millersplayer for a few games. He trained with the first team for a week and was deemed match fit.
    Blackstock does a pre season training but doesn't make the team at Forest. He's still not match fit.
    Adeyemi. doesn't play much comes to us and plays then gets injured. He's now deemed match fit!

    Somebody fill in the blanks for me please!

    Perigord.

    Only 16 more sleeps till we have some of your wifes finest Baboffee cake!

    I'm going to get some good cheeses for the event! And some strong stuff to either celebrate or just get drunk!
