O/T Stoptober is probably the last chance for some of you lads to stop smoking.

You are the resistant ones when everyone else is stopping.

Only 17 per cent of adults smoke now.

You are killing yourselves fellas and will leave your children without a father at a young age.

Get Vaping and save a life and save a family's happiness!

I was with you all the way until your last sentence, pumping quantities of chemicals into your body instead of smoke isn't the answer. I'm a tad dissapointed in you Kempo

It's better to stop gmgm I agree but vaping is probably a good option for these very resistant smokers...all the evidence is that it's very much safer than smoking.

Apparently not K..... studies are now showing that the oils used in vaping are being exposed as extremely harmful and its predicted that this will be the new lung cancer...

Can't think where I saw the article???? I have to agree with gmgm that anything in your lungs is harmful and all the smokers moving to vaping for me have jumped out of the frying pan nto the fire....

Only 17% but if you go to a prison or a mental hospital probably 80-90% of people smoke.

Interesting stat in many ways...I didn't know that but I am not surprised at the prison one maybe a bit surprised at the link with MH admission.

I do agree with both yourself and gm that it is certainly better to stop but think that for very resistant smokers vaping has a place unless of course the risks that you suggest are proven.

I think I am correct in saying no significant risk has been shown in humans however of course long term studies have not been done.

Probably over-estimated there, but I would say definitely the majority.

    Agree with this kempo.

    My mum died of emphysema.

Terrible illness caused by years of smoking.

She used to say to grandkids whatever you do do not smoke or you will end up like me.

It's stuck with me and my children.

Seeing how much she suffered towards the end should be enough to stop my 2 ever smoking hopefully.
