But played in goals from Sunday league to semi professional.
Think I chucked it too soon to improve on my running as I was getting better by the week during a long winter lay off.
Probably not being kicked in the heed or legs every weekend and carrying injuries whilst running at the same time.
Chucked it at 30.

I used to play sevens on a full sized pitch up until about 3 years ago, I was by far the oldest on the park, was well chuffed by the fact that in all the time I played, unlike others much younger, i never once had to go in nets to get my breath, ran that right wing like a professional, then I pulled my hamstring, was never right after that, every time I thought it was ok I went back to playing, it would go again, first time I had to get my mate to drive me home cos I couldn't push the clutch in.so reluctantly I had to give up. Don't half miss it. Getting old suck balls.
