England Team & International Football in general

Well we just new it would be tosh last night and we weren't proved wrong - we have never had such an uninspired national team with a total lack of invention/creation.
No wonder fans are loosing interest in our National Side and concentrating on their local clubs. These so called "golden boys" of English football are only capable of playing in the Premiership alongside creative/talented foreign players who make them look good or best of a bad bunch and when they are assembled together as our National Team they are collectively poor to say the least. The only consolation is that we are marginally better than the Jocks....well that might change come November.

That's the problem with English clubs playing too many foreign players and shoving ours to one side.

Southgate didn't put put the right team out for me.

Rooney should have started and how many chances does Lingard want

I must admit (I've moaned quite a lot about him) Hart was MOTM

Maybe there should be more actual English players in the team and they'd care more about playing for their team? Most of the team are the sons of immigrants, even Rooney and Cahill are Irish.

I think it's much more about quality than passion gf. I'd play with passion but I'm pretty sure I'd be crap. As for heritage, I'm sure if anyone on here had their DNA looked at they'd find they were 25% German, 25% French and possibly 25% Alien

I think you hit the nail on the head their lol except just 'some'? In fact get them all on their bikes and replace them with the GB Olympic road and track cycling team. They seem to know the meaning of the words hard work, commitment and success

Maybe they should introduce a pay scale for players. I know they're on silly money but each player int premiership should be on
5k basic up until they make the first team
    10k for first team players
+2k for FA cup medal holders
+1k for league cup medal holders
    +10k for league winners medal
+10k for champions league winners medals
    All these should be standard.

The other money they earn should be win, goal scoring, clean sheet and other bonuses linked to results.

Just an incentive based idea to reward the most successful players.

Didn't watch the game the other night but listened to it on the radio

Although most of the players didn't cover themselves in glory I thought

Joe Hart was Head and Shoulders above all the others
