Agreed 100%.
Quite why people have to have an animal which is capable of mauling a child to death in their house is completely beyond me.

"hes great with kids "
sick listening to this shyte,,these dogs are killers, bred to fight and even the most passive can turn in a nano second
I would have no problem gassing every single one of the vicious Feckers
and any parent who keeps one with children should be locked up for endangering children
seriously,,what is wrong with these people ??

The owners are more of the problem than the wee dugs.
and another thing.anyone walking these dogs without a muzzle should be kneecapped and made to eat their dog after watching it bar-b-qued
sick having to cross the street with my granddaighter while the owner gets a a hardon at the way people avoid him ( the owners are usually 5 feet tall beanpoles btw, the dog is actually walking them)
rant over !!
all dogs have the scope to turn violent.......certain breds are bred purely to fight, its in there DNA,,now, for me I would have no dog while i had children ( perticularly babies in the house ). But I recognise that for some thier dog is part and parcel of their family..and some dogs are amazingly loyal , loving and would die to protect their loved ones. Its the bull dogs I have problems with also the bigger dogs ( german shepards,,dobermans (sic) and the ones from the omen graveyard scene,,cnat remeber their name lol ) to have one of these things in the house is like living with a timebomb,,one thing for sure,, that baby would still be alive if they had of bought a poodle
I love dogs and used to own a collie and a lab who were both excellent dogs but I would never have left them alone with kids.
Also when walking them got sick fed up having to avoid people walking their staffies off the lead and unmuzzled. My lab got attacked by one of these dogs, luckily I was there as was the owner and I booted the staffie and she managed to drag it away. This was a middle aged women who came out with the line " he is a lovely dog and has never done anything like this before " Ehy do they always say this. A ridgeback also tried to attack my lab but I managed to punch it on the head and it ran back to its owner. I really do not understand why anyone would want to own one of these dogs
Once watched a programme about killer dogs and one so called expert said that if a Jack Russel was the size of a Rottweiler it would be the most dangerous animal on the planet.
