Well put, roly. I am afraid that despite the slings and arrows of the lbj/AC/BOTN faction over the years I have learned to temper my support for RUFC with a modicum of objectivity. We are the worst team, we have the least ambitious chairman (in real £ terms anyway if not in flights of fancy) and if some team has to go down then this season we deserve it most. Sorry but I can no longer see things purely in red and white terms. Viewed objectively we are no loss to the Championship. C'est la vie.
Listening on Player, it sounded that they missed a hatful of chances. We started getting on top and played quite well for a while.
Sounded like Fisher had a decent game and crossed for our goal. Brown was hardly mentioned, and Newell(injured?) must have wondered why he was taken off instead of Brown, who then moved to the wing and subbed later.
What's the point of put 2 subs on with a couple of minutes left???......ffs, give them a chance.....
Probably as expected today. A comfortable win for Norwich which should/could have been far more comfortable.
We had our moments (as all teams do in just about every game) but not many.
Straw clutchers will grimly hang on to some hope based on the fact that we didn't get totally humiliated, on top of the "promising" defeats at the hands of Huddersfield and Newcastle.
One very lucky home win. 6 out of 6 away defeats. Terrible goal difference.
I am more than a little bit fed up.
The pre-season hype. The big talk about £1.5 million signings. All looks a bit silly now.
We're totally screwed!!!
Be interesting to hear what Stubbs has to say.![]()
