If you want a best list it would be, for me in my time of watching the millers-not in order
Neil Warnock
Steve Evans
Ronnie Moore
Ian Porterfield
Jimmy McGuigan
Jack Mansell
All of whom would knock spots off the plonker in charge now

Jeepers, have I really seen all those come and go... and more!
Yep there are some more temporary ones which I didnt list some of those were still arguably better than stubbs.
Danny Williams. One of our all-time greats as player and manager and did well later at Swindon. Statistics, in terms of win %, suggest Reg Freeman was top with Williams, Porterfield, Ronnie Moore, Mark Robins and Steve Evans all scoring over 40%. I think statistics don't lie in this instance and I think they are probably our top six managers.
In my opinion Cusack is the worst we ever had followed by Kerr and Bergara. At least Cusack and Bergara were both decent blokes.
My list of the most disliked managers would be Kerr, Andy Scott, Harford and Stubbs.
I never thought that I'd be typing this. but he probably IS as bad as George Kerr.... so now will he make an attempt to break Kerr's lowest post-war home attendance record?
I haven't yet googled this, but its funny that sometimes from memory you remember things vividly and sometimes its foggy..I remember the lowest attendance game cos I went, but didnt realise kerr was in charge at the time..one thing with george though, he was told to get rid of the players we had at the time and restructure the side on the cheap.. thats a hard thing to do..plus,we had that very good league cup run, beating the crazy gang (when they were good) and southampton..all with grimsby town rejects (and mickey gooding who as we all know turned out to be a brilliant player for reading) sadly, I couldnt see stubbs beating an egg, but luckily, he hasnt to my knowing had a pie on the back of his neck yet, too expensive to throw I presume....
That's a good point, Milla. I'd forgotten about the cup run. We also beat Luton who were an established top flight team at the time over 2 legs after losing the 1st leg at home.
Also on those days the top flight clubs used to field full strength teams because the league cup actually meant something.
