    Reading Post Match Thoughts

The end of a hectic week and the team showed some fight today but the result's the same to another promotion contender and the task is starting to look monumental. Is there hope of another miracle with KJ at the helm? Post your thoughts here.

PS What are we doing letting Ted Bovis score against us

Just noticed a strange pattern of results today in the Championship with eight 1-0, a 2-0 and a 3-0. Can't be often that there is no game where both teams score at least 1 goal.

    Better performance. More balanced side.
Blackstock worked hard but did nothing bar win a few headers. All players solid 7/10. Draw would have been fair. Difference again (as 2 season ago Vs Wigan) al habsi. Reading keeper. 3 very good saves to keep it 0.0.

    So much for 4 4 2

How much possession did reading have -

Very basic to start - BUT THE MANAGER DID WAVE..

Saw a better performance against Newcastle...Huddersfield......Should have been 3 points against a very average team.....think Izzy linking with Ward would have worked today....

    Back to square one....
TS bottled it - when it was his plan AS was working to....and performances were getting better.....

    Now we're struggling....long ball - playing for seconds .....

Time will tell....but all that money our new manager had with Wolves and failed.....This job for him is just that - A JOB....

    LBJ,you really are a muppet.
We looked a lot harder to beat, and everyone worked their boll*cks off, with a bit of luck,or a worse keeper we would have won that.
Think Kenny will get us winning, just might take a few games to get his plans working, but signs are there.

IBJ is obviously a wind up merchant and is best ignored.

Looked a lot stronger in defence with Wood in it. 100% effort from almost everyone (wasn't so impressed with Brown's contribution when he came on). Signs Jackett might pull something together. On another day, we could have won comfortably. Their goalie had a great game. Losing is never fun, but at least I felt we gave it a go today.
