    Russell hat-trick of penalties

Beany scored a hat-trick of penalties last Saturday. I reckon he would still be at Palmerston if Airdrieonians hadn't offered him a contract, with the pull of Ian McMillan also.

Pretty sure Airdrie offered him a 2 year deal while we, sensibly in my view, offered 1 year.
    Good player for us.
Wonder how many of the pens he dived for

A 2 year deal at his age was a good call and his Grandfather is the honorary director at Airdrieonians, Ian McMillan.

Russell probably dived for all three penalties.

First time in 6 years since a player in Scotland scored three penalties in the one match.

That must be Paul Hartley as it is the only person I know that has done it before Russell did it on Saturday.

You are correct. It was Hartley who last achieved the feat.
