    Hibs 2-0 St Mirren

    We played well yesterday.

Jamie Langfield saved them from an absolute doing.

3-5-2 suits us much better and it showed.

Marciano - 7 - Very little to do, but had some dodgy looking pass outs and clearances.

Gray - 7 - Got forward and got crosses in

Fontaine - 7 - Solid, moped up at the back well.

Hanlon - 7 - Never put a foot or pass wrong

    McGregor - 7 - He is just a rock.

Stevenson - 7 - Same as Gray, got forward a lot and put in some decent crosses.

McGinn - 7 - Did ok, but lost the ball on a few occasions hanging on to it too long

Fyvie - 7 - Good passer of a ball, but took what looked like a sore, played on though.

Shinnie - 9 - Superb. cracking assist for the first and was all over the pitch, best game so far

Holt - 8 - Very good, lead the line well, scored a good goal, missed a penalty

Boyle - 9 - Outstanding. Brilliant finish for goal, Langfield stopped him grabbing a hat-trick.

    Subs:

Bartley - 6 - Solid when he came in, and even gave us a lung bursting run with the ball.

Graham - 5 - Not much time but put himself about well.

    Harris - 3 - got about 30 secs.

Looking back to our early season form.

14,500 at the game, with 350 Buddies.

Good game on Saturday and Boyle deserved man of the match would have liked him to finish his one on one's but his overall performance was outstanding his pace was pulsating and if he just slowed down slightly in front of goals he could have bagged himself a hatrick. Hope John McGinns ok.
