Come on Queens , cheers us up

Have just watched some utter dreadful finishing by Scotland . If Forrest and Griffiths have a green and white hooped jersey on they score , but they don't and they don't. Queens obviously have been depressing us recently but players are filtering back now , albeit not match sharp. No excuses though , we are at home and should be looking to be in a domestic semi final . Lets do it !

I get what you are saying JR but that`s harsh on the Celtic players especially given of late our own players couldn`t hit the proverbial coo`s arse with a banjo at a much lower level of football. Players miss chances, Hanley and Snodgrass missed even better ones, that`s life.
Our best ever player (in my view) has missed some great chances for QOS of late.
Totally agree with your view re let`s do it though.

Good reply Dobmeister. I don't agree regarding Dobbie( as best ever ) but that's for another topic/ debate mate.

Our defence let us down again and we made England look better than they really are. The England goals were gifts and papered over the obvious cracks. Sterling is vastly overated and Rooney is finished. I would keep Strachan until the end of the campaign and as one punter said let him suffer with us.

Looking forward to Queens bouncing back with a win.

How many passes did Engerland make in that move near the end when they were taking the piss out of us ?

I am not getting at you, QOS_MAD_ADMIN, (in fact, I agree with you that England have a pretty poor team) but it irks me that we are constantly told by our TV pundits (who are mostly ex footballers from Scotland) how bad Scotland's opponents are and how well Scotland are playing (all whilst we are being thrashed). I wouldn't have appointed Strachan in the first place and I certainly wouldn't retain him now: but the position of manager of the Scottish national team is an unenviable one simply because of the dearth of quality players available to him. One of our central defenders last night is a player who cannot get a game for an English Championship team: but is there anyone better in the Scottish Premiership?
I expect Queens to win today but as I have already posted, I would expect any full-time Championship team to beat any part-time SPFL1 team. If we don't we are in a worse situation than I think we are.
