After a rough start to the season in which they gained only 6 points out of a possible 24, Preston have turned their season around with 17 out of the last 24. Only one of those eight matches was a loss and it was to Newcastle, which is to be expected. In the last eight matches, they've also defeated Norwich, drew Brighton and beat Huddersfield and Villa. This puts them midtable and only three points off the playoff spots. Their top forward from the last few seasons - Joe Garner - departed to Rangers. Jordan Hugill is their top scorer in league play with 5 to his name. Callum Robinson and Alex Baptiste have chipped in three each. They also have Jermaine Beckford in their striking corps, and he's been around the Football League for a while and has over 100 career league goals to his name. Preston are 8th in goals scored and 15th in goals conceded. Their defending doesn't seem to be anything to write home about, but Wolves have not exactly lit up the scoring sheet this season.

I have some optimism due to a rejuvenated Lambert being placed in charge, but the match is on the road and Preston are in decent form. Maybe the international break will upset that a bit.
