I don't know if you've looked on the Express and Star website tonight, The Specials will be doing an outside concert at the NEC on May 26th 2017. Once i get a confirmation from one of my sister's, i should be going.

My sister managed to get me, herself and my youngest sister a ticket. I'm really looking forward to it now.

Well i've finally managed to see The Specials in concert and i'm so glad i did. They opened up with an extended version of 'Ghost Town', all the classics played and also tributes to those that lost the lives in the Manchester bombings. Each and every person there last night were there for the love of music and no hatred of others.

Armed Police were visible at wolves train station, the NEC and also The Genting Arena where the concert was held, but in the open, glorious weather, and will definately try and see The Specials again. The support act, Toots and the Maytals are also worth seeing. In between the bands, a few well known songs were played including The liquidator and Wolly Bully. They were people of all ages there enjoying themselves and many wouldn't look out of place in the film 'This Is England', plenty of retro clothing on show.

Sounds brilliant mate, glad you had a good time and the event passed off without incident. Josh and I are going to The Stone Roses gig at Wembley on 17th June so I expect there to be heightened security there as well.
