    Wolves at Deepdale....

Well that was a change to see a fairly large club coming to Deepdale and setting up to first and foremost get a point out of the game. SG was spot in saying Wolves paid us a lot of respect and set out a game plan to ensure they didnt lose. Not the greatest spectacle but I thought particularly 2nd half we had more than enough chances to pick up all 3 points with some very good chances from the likes of Clarke, Hugill, the big Dane and Hugills hooking chance at the death. I presume Wolves fans will be fairly pleased the team actually played as a unit together and did particularly in the first half close us down and where up and at it.

3 points off the play-offs still and with Burton coming up at home on Saturday its a must 3 points to keep the fans believing and the pressure on the top 6. More than happy to take middle of the table placing however while we are in striking distance why not take a punt at a top 8 spot.

Burton must be due a good game anytime soon - A point from Wolves not too bad I suppose. I was hoping Leeds could tame Newcastle but when your goalkeeper gifts them a goal you know it's going to be hard work, the annoying thing is I actually said at the start of the game he would pivotal in getting a result but was likely to mess it up, me and my big gob. The second Newcastle goal was very similar to that against your mob, very clinical drew out defenders and that little git sneaks in.

Let's see what Xmas brings, no easy games for anyone in the Championship though, any team thinking otherwise is likely to get beat

Sheff Wed away on Saturday and certainly not a happy hunting ground for us in recent years. Home to Rovers next up a week on Saturday and live at fecking 5.30pm. Then Florists and Brizzles away before taking on you Yawkshire muvvers. Can't really see any easy games there I'm afraid but I don't think SG and the team fear any one at the moment. I just want us and you lot to both be in the top ten when we play each other just to give it that extra edge.

Brighton, Reading and Villa are a far worse prospect at the moment - we could end up with nothing until we get to Boxing Day
