    Leeds United Post Match Thoughts

They say something about it always being darkest before the dawn. Well it's been pretty dark around here for weeks so maybe half time was our dawn? Or will we have to wait 5-6 more weeks?

Thoughts, comments and rants welcome here.

Could that second half performance actually kick start a type of recovery

I was impressed with the second half performance

If we had stayed with 11 men who knows what might have been!

I think we lulled Leeds into a sense of apathy, and nearly caught them napping....to be fair, if Leeds were any good they'd have battered us, they're not going anywhere, we're going down.

If there's one thing all Millers fans want to see it's our players getting stuck in, and in the first half, we stood off and allowed Leeds the freedom of Rotherham, you can't do that at any level, and the players cannot keep giving excuses, there's nowhere to hide on a football pitch, but 7 or 8 of them today had a good go at it. I want men playing for my team, men in terms of attitude, over to you Kenny...

KJ is learning about the players he inherited. Brought Ball in who was one of our better players. Players to discard now Kelly past it. Brown a luxury we can't afford. Adeyemi slow, doesn't look fit but got nobody else.

Vaulks did well. Two centre backs also. D Ward kept going. Leeds weren't that good that's makes it harder to take.

Yes the key thing was that Leeds were very poor which makes it even more disappointing.
An Evans / Warnock side would have taken 3 points easily as they did in previous seasons
We handed it to them on a plate and they were the worst side (apart from us) this season by a long way.
The audacity to sing you're kin 5h1t.
I'd recommend they look at the their Sky recording

What I read into KJ's thoughts since he has been in charge is that he wants us to be in the game at half time then we come out in the second half and have a bit of a go at winning the game

Probably need to have a go at the start of the game Kenny as we can't defend for toffee and we always end up chasing the game every time

    Absolutely abysmal.

We have a tiny spell after we scabbed a goal. Damage was already done by then. Hardly any effort by any player - two central mids ran around, but apart from that... There was nothing there. It took forever for us to have a shot on goal.

The first half, the less said about that the better. Ridiculous elbow, stupid. Kelly was laughably bad. I've not been this angry post match since we lost 4-0 to Barnsley. It was on a par with that. I didn't see anything to make me feel any better about anything.

Stubbs has to take so much of the blame, he signed so many SO MANY bad players that we're not stuck with, and as usual, will have to pay off in January in order to Jacket to get his own in. He needs to start planning for next year and hopefully get us up and around the top 6. The only thing I can take hope in is that we've got a half decent manager who seems to know what he's doing so next year we might be okay in League One.

I'm not going again this season, it's painful to watch.

Hang on a minute we lose a player to injury after 5 minutes we lose our goalkeeper who has been MOM several times

we go down to ten men and we are not expected to lose to a team that has shown recent form

I think we did well to stop a rout tonight and as for the people who left early --- why bother ?? a game lasts 90 minutes
