I don't think 4 is a bad idea. No more though.

Maybe keep it at 3 for tactical changes and be allowed an extra 1 for injury's. But i suppose people would just take advantage of that and bend the rules by saying he was carrying a knock or whatever.

I hate international matches when they start and make all the changes in friendly matches.

Imaging your oposition goes 1 up with 20 mins left and they throw another 4 defenders on taking off their strikers and a wingers!

change it to use 4 subs but your only allowed to do 2 substitutions. so you choose add 4 players in one go or 3n1 or 2n2 or 2n1 if your only other sub is scott allan

Imagine if Europe started to get serious about baseball and tried to tell the Americans they needed to change rules etc!!!
