    Rip off football prices.

Just got tickets for Leeds game £144 for 4 of us.
Put on top travelling costs and food it's a £200 plus game for us.

How can clubs get away with it ??

Yes I know it's my choice to pay it but I just think the loyalty of the fans is been tested.

    Something needs to be done.

Your absolute right fellas and no one can disagree with your stance. Pity though as a good support can help our lads get some points

Most grounds I go to are a rip off.

For me it's not an option not going but I wouldn't criticise anyone who didn't go on principle.

Like Pete says though it does make a difference having a decent away support.

Only ever one thing that will bring football to its senses its fans standing together as a collective , mark a saturday in the calendar and every fan from every club boycott that particular game , you will always get fans not taking part but if you decreased the attendance by a third it would have an effect , the publicity surrounding it from the media would increase the pressure on clubs to start listening and stop taking us for mugs .

The players also need to get real with their demands , we fans are struggling to pay our bills these days and its time they had their greed clipped , these agents want kicking out too , money straight out of the game , if player's want representation fine , pay for it yourself and none of this part of any transfer fee game or services rendered .

Most of these agents exist because clubs and players are too bone idle to do the deals or find players themselves , totally unnecessary expense in my opinion .

Twenty quid is about right for the championship , fifteen for league one and a tenner for league two , it was 6 quid the year we went to the PL twenty years ago and i'm not earning much more than I did then , twenty five quid on saturday against Brum and that's one of the cheaper games at Oakwell , you couldn't make it up with our local economy .

Finance might be an issue for a small minority but I reckon this thread would be completely different if we were in Barnsley's position in the league and showing their kind of form (we wish).

The thread would be something along the lines of 'how many tickets have they sent us'. 'Can't wait, great away trip'. 'Why do season ticket holders always get first choice'.
