    Disgraceful exhibition

The players, management, chairman, and directors should be ashamed of that performance. A joint apology from the club is the least the supporters deserve.

In the first half it was patently obvious that the players were not interested and could not be bothered. Our so called management stood on the touchline looking totally confused. or are they so out of it that they thought that was a competent effort. The directors were probably thinking of more important issues, like what biscuits were they going to have with their tea at halftime.

Any supporter was entitled to think that the management would give the players a right rollicking for that totally inept 45 minutes. But in reality if anything the team were even poorer in the second half. No passion, effort, skill or competitiveness, and from the management no tactics or plan to rescue the game.

Accrington were not a good team, but at least they had honest triers. They deserved the win. What did our team, the management, the chairman and the directors deserve? In two words "THE SACK". Wouldnt it be nice if today they all felt guilty. Fat chance of that happening

You summed up the match perfectly and I do spend time watching the manager in his technical area ( mostly cos the game is boring ) and there is a deffo a problem with the way he gets info to the players. It is obvious to fans what needs to be done at stages in the game but SD appears to wait for half time before trying to address the problems
His after match comments make me laugh cos who is he trying to fool other than himself. We tried hard , we worked on picking up the second ball in training . What he says and what actually happend on the field do not match up
The directors do have other things to think about at the club but as J Bowler sated we are in a results business and failing badly at this . If the crowd was suddenly to drop between 500-1000 then they might take action. I for one will not be returning till there is a change - it will be hard to do but its the only way to let the club know how we feel.

I'm not sure they care. I've just looked at the Tranmere home gates and they haven't suffered yet and even had a crowd of just under 8000 for the local derby against Chester and so why would they be bothered? Of course the academy Cat2 would have to go and any prospect of big transfer fees and getting rid of dozens of non football staff at Reaseheath...Macclesfield just beat them 4-2 on new years day and so plenty of goals there..Another local derby...I'm wondering if SD is the secret weapon to this aspiration?

    What's not to like?

What we fans want is good entertaining football and we have not got this in Div 1 or Div 2 . So maybe it might have to be the national league . And yes lots of things will have to change at the club and people will lose there jobs but this happens all the time with players who are released. I feel that behind the scenes it is run as a family business and there appears to be little pressure on staff to perform . If the commercial department increased revenue and this allowed money to be spent on the first team then no supporter would moan at who ran it but at the moment it appears to be a joke department. Look at how the program sellers work . All stood outside the shop talking to one another. No energy spent in shouting out what they have to sell, this does not happen at other clubs. It might be a small thing but these add up. If the Crewe Chronicle did not cover the club know one other than hard core supporters would know what going on at Gresty Road . The club needs a new face as Chairman who will shake up the whole place and who will not be scared to upset the apple cart

The club has no presence outside of Gresty Road and there are tens of thousands of new people in the area over the last few years and none of them would know we exist. Not one poster anywhere on main roads or in the town centres, nobody selling anything and Reaseheath is a closed shop where some of the many employees, even the graduates of the academy could spent some time with a barrow in the towns on a rostered basis and it all just stinks of complacency and couldn't care less attitude. BUT the money for the academy won't last forever and things will then have to change. So 27 millions down the academy drain and hardly any of that reinvested in the first team and had it been, then I too would have been a convert. 3.8 million for Ashton. 4 or 5 million for Powell and so where did all that money go? And add all the other money too if you want? Can there ever have been such an incompetent set of directors in that time?
