Cue the negative comments
Club statement 11.05pm 31st January:
Despite making numerous bids the club has been unable to get any incoming transfers over the line."
Or am I just being overly cynical? 😕
Sorry Yak 😀
👍🏻👍🏻
Three 'serious' bids..... does that mean any one of the three will be in excess of a million pounds like they 'allegedly' offered for Gregory?
Just find it all a bit strange we've put these bids in now when the windows been open 25 days?
Probably buying basement because Stubbs used up and messed almost all of this year's budget and you can't blame the chairman for that!
ibj.... wind yer neck in I don't a reply about Stubbs thank you...
Definitely gearing for league one so let's get it all grounded now in preparation for the pre season but please please not in Scotland or Poland!
if hes confident all three would like to play for rotherham then they must be lower league players.
please let them be under 25 and decent prospects, i wont be a happy bunny if there 30+![]()
Quote. “We’re working constantly to try to bring people in. All of the staff are spending time on the phone throughout the day trying to make deals happen,” .....Give them a chance guys.
Quote. Among the known targets is Grimsby Town striker Omar Bogle, and another League Two hot-shot is also thought to be on the Millers’ radar. Didnt PW say we have not made a bid for him.
Quote. Warne, who described all three bids as “serious”, added: “I am confident that all three would sign for Rotherham United if we can agree fees with their respective clubs. We’re hopeful that we can do that. Where have we heard that before? (I think it was under Stubbs watch).
Quote. “Obviously we want value for money and won’t overpay, which is what makes doing business in this window that bit more difficult because it’s a seller’s market.”..This is the get out clause for nil signings.
Oh well. Lets look forward.
cayton, Im sure they will be a good prospect, IF they sign.![]()
