Young players we should be looking at

Why are we not looking to bring in a few of the young players of small Welsh, Irish and Scottish clubs.

Players like Greg Morrison at Ross County and Mark Russell at Morton? They have talent by the bucketful but they get overlooked in England time and time again and end up not doing much at all in the game. Shame really as there are a few good young players out there that just need a chance to step up.

I agree but we've done that with vaulks and he regularly gets slated for not been good enough.

If we bring them in they need time to develop.

That was my point and we need to start doing it now otherwise we are always going to be priced out of players and this way we might even get a few we can sell on for a profit.

That was the plan this season.....Young Ball being one. Vaulks - Fisher - are young talent that will only get better and hopefully young Yates will learn from such as Ward and young Good shootin Dex.....

Under the present circumstances surrounding football perhaps this thread could have had a more thoughtful title....

The title is the right title as I don't mean to bring them in and start them in the first team right away. The 2 players I mention above should have been brought into the club at least 2 years ago when they were 17 or 18 or even younger and brought through our system.

There are loads of good young players out there in Welsh, Irish and Scottish clubs that we in England do not even look at or ignore altogether, WHY? Is our scouting staff that bad as they can't even go to home countries and bring in the young kids with prospects of being a good player.

That precisely why an academy is ***** !

A stand alone football school of excellence - nutrition - fitness - education - life skills - media training.....Oh and perhaps a bit of football.

Somewhere the parents know their kids will be safe away from home - that's why digs are important!

I'very just spent a lot of money there..lol

    Poor TS.....all on 10k - match...can't be done....

Send the 'spot the ball' card around every match....
