A very good article..I would say that Football fans are some of the most knowledgeable people in Sport..(Coaching badges or not) Unless you ask Gary Neville...Constructive criticism and being negative are two different things....It also works both ways...You could argue that giving the fans something to cheer about is a great way of bring about a positive atmosphere..They do afterall pay through the nose for the privilege. ..Once coaches start looking toward the fans, it usually means that they're running out of ideas, on the pitch.....Open teams do enable expansive football sides to strut their stuff....But tight marking, and parking the bus hasn't only just been invented..We clearly have the talent to exploit this...If only we had that strong as an ox midfielder thats been touted by us fans since last summer.. We have indeed come a long way, in a very short space of time. .That doesn't mean that you should stand still, and clap along like battery operated dolls, no matter what....I don't advocate mindless booing..nor do I think that a coach should be absolved from criticism....Wednesday fans are some of the best in the country..They've had to be...Football will always divide opinion..Its one of the things that makes it great....Accepting everything you watch is as non productive as booing a sideways pass....In the end, the majority of fans want SWFC to be as successful as it can....And we all, and rightly so, will have our own ideas on how to get there.
