    Warnock signs extension

So reading warnock has signed on for another season with Cardiff city... so I guess for all those hoping a glimmer he might come back for next year can forget that. His comments say it all..

He said: "They couldn't have done it any quicker apart from driving around to my house yesterday.

"I expected it to be done in the next three or four weeks, but there was not a lot that needed sorting out.

''We wanted to stay, they wanted us to stay, we wanted an opportunity to do well next season, they've given us that.

"Now we want to try and put the club in a place where we will be strong enough next season to have a go.

"We'll be up against big budgets so we'll have to be very good at what we do all over the club to give us a chance to get successful."

Looks like a club that knows what it wants and where it's going.

Shame were stale clueless and blind to the fact you cannot compete in this league unless you spend. Doesn't have to be stupid but you have to take risk or get nothing. Never posted negative or fealt so annoyed in 42 yr. we've had mega bad times but atleast we were like wild animals that gave pure spirit albeit our situation.

way it feels at moment reminds me of being a youth throwing several apples into middle of road and sitting patiently waiting for 1 vehicle to eventually splatter it. Inevitable

Neil Warnock. I think he did a wonderful job for Rotherham United.

    BUT

Did he use Tony Stewarts' offer of a contract and the transfer kitty to raise his wage structure when being interviewed by other clubs?

Did he continue his crooked ways at Rotherham if you believe what happened with Jason Puncheon at QPR?
    https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/footb...team-football/

Would he have been able to fulfil his ego driven raise to break the all time promotion record?

Would he have been good for Rotherham United without money to spend on big names?

Would he have taken the club into debt and then just walked away when his ego wasn't being massaged anymore?

Did we have a lucky escape?

    who knows eh!
But it didn't say he'd have a big budget. Although I'm sure he'll have a better budget there than here. "If the fans want.." we wanted but he didn't.... obviously sat down with plans.. what is our plan ?? We don't have one or it's not a "plan for championship" what manager doesn't want a budget that clearly gives a manager the resources to build the team he wants not one he doesn't want but has to scrape for cast offs has been a crippled players that aren't going to get you anywhere other than lower league football. I'm sure some of the players we have are good enough amongst Ines that are clearly not and majority of those won't be here. Sinking ship you jump off it.. maybe if fans had a clue what the "plan" is for us we'd feel a little better or even see some shimmering of light in the distance

There has to be a plan! Surely there has to be a plan! Please let there be a plan! I hope there's a plan! It is a good idea to have a plan! Plans are important! Does anyone know if there is a plan?

Does anyone have a fag box?

I said a few weeks ago that I thought that the following would happen.

Warne would be the manager for the rest of this season and the next. I reckon that once the RMBC had helped out RU Estates with the flood defences that the car park will be finished with the addition of brand new units housing a very local and successful company who has helped create what RUFC become. I would be 100% in favour of it.
British Heritage will allow the G&C building to be made into a tap and valve museum with the construction of a pub and hotel at the side of it.
