    Next up - Rangers

Motherwell resume league duty on Saturday with a match against Rangers at Ibrox. Two previous visits ended with disappointing losses from winning positions. Will it be third time lucky? - External Link

Time shall tell ... but, at least Robbo's pre-match press i'view wasn't the normal sheepish 'oh, hopefully we won't get a drubbin' from the mighty Rangers, 'cos we're only a wee provincial club you know'.

We've actually scored more goals than six of the other teams; even Rangers fans don't think their central defence is very good. Conversely, we've shipped more goals than anybody else (though our -9 over two games accounts for a chunk of our negative balance). So I hope that our plan for tomorrow includes getting down to their end of the pitch as often as we can, while keeping them away from our end. What we don't want, in advance of a far, far more important game in midweek, is a dispirited team trudging off at the end. I'm no football tactician; I hope that the manager is.

Great point about the team needing at least some positives from Greyskull for our midweek game against the Accies.

IMO under our previous manager when it came to playing Rangers this season we have been ultra cautious in our attacking approach against them, and have lost out on every occasion sometimes unluckily. So here's hoping we have a real go at them as I believe very few folk give us a hope in hell of getting a result, and surely even a point would be a great boost going into our last three games before the break .
