    If not Warney, then who?

I have big doubts about Warney being given the job longer term, but no- one leaps out at me at the moment. With Tony Stewart wanting someone to work with younger players longer term, probably rules out 'impact' managers like Cotterall.
Paul Hurst has strong links to us, and did well with Grimsby. Paul Cooke, if he has fallen out with Portsmouth, as rumored on here? John Pemberton? Jimmy Floyd Hasselbank? Might be someone who we all think "Who?" or someone from abroad.

Not seen any betting odds, Can we have poll to see who on here might want?

A choice between the Cowley brothers from Lincoln, Phil Brown or Paul Hurst would be on my wish list.

Steve Thompson with Warne as his assistant. Thompson ,Warne and Pollitt i understand used to share a car to training when they were all Lancashire based. Could be the ideal compromise for Stewart and Son !
