Would the fans accept Warne has Manager, If He Had A Mentor.

One way of Paul Warne being accepted has manager by the fans, could be a experienced manager coming in, acting has his mentor & director of football, who would advise the technical committee on transfers etc.
One man could be John Ward who has the experience of working with some top managers.

Personally I don't want Paul Warne has manager, two managers worth a shout to me are, John Ward & Chris Powell.

Another thing with clubs buying decent players out of the conference league, shouldn't the Millers had a word with Ronnie Moore, who managed Eastleigh, who surely should have taken note of any decent players, for the club to buy.

But what is the point of that..! ! !

.......He's never going to give the EVO stare and by the looks of Warne he doesn't use hairdryers.

He trained and had aspirations of becoming a fitness guy and that's great...but managers development takes years.....

Strength in depth is a common phrase in football and obviously it's related to the quality of the squad - cover for each position and the quality of that cover.

We'll you could say the same with any manager really but in football when you really do think on your feet - the experience of football tactics - players - systems - other teams....etc needs to have that "Strength in depth"....and Warne and Barker together do not have enough to rebuild Rotherham United from the foundations up..!

It's like being on the X factor, got no original talent would be a better name.

A real manager the buck stops with him.

Think I'd sooner have Warney & Barker than have Powell, Ward or Ronnie involved.

Back to my original post on 04 April 2017, to Warne having a mentor to show him the ropes,
    like John Ward.
Fans realise Warne has not got the experience to change tactics, his side kick Barker & Co ought to
be helping him, but not doing much good, fetching old mates in does not always work, ok we have
had promotion with Warne, but he still lacks the know how, time to get someone in with experience,
to help him. being a good guy doesn't work in football, a manager has to be ruthless, or he loses the
    fans & his job.
After the Tranmere game ended I heard fans saying Warne has not a clue, today after Doncaster game
fans again complaining at Warnes tactics, time for Warne to get someone with experience to get him
    on track.

    Bit puzzled by this thread.
Paul,s been accepted as our Manager for a long time by the fans.
Worked miracles last season to make us competitive on a shoestring and won lots of plaudits.

Things aren't quite right at the moment but he'll sort it. He always does

He’s Mr Nice Guy and that reflects in the team.

We’re too nice, no grit, no power, no aggression

Warne teams will win games in this division but will probably struggle against the more aggressive teams ( Lincoln, Tranmere) to improve overall we’ve got to get a credible plan B and toughen up.

For me Warny is the perfect guy for the job at Rotherham but he needs a little help tactically. I have no doubt that he will become a great manager for us if given the time but for right now at this moment in his manager ship he does need that little bit more tactical knowledge and have someone sat at his shoulder to offer him advice during a match.

For that to happen he has to admit he needs help, something I think is unlikely.

Doesn’t help either that Richie Barker is also an ex forward, neither know much about defence and neither were renowned for aggression in their play.

    It’s all a bit “nice”
