    What's changed with board moderation??

As a member of this board for a few years now, the moderation seems to have changed hugely recently.

Yellow and red cards were issued, on the whole, pretty fairly and moderator intervensions made when some guys approached "the mark", never mind massively overstepped it.

Moderators knew their group of contributors and seemed to understand that if complaints were being made against certain newbies by regular members, it was time for a cautionary word.

    Now NOTHING!!

A few years ago, abusing someone directly was a cast iron Yellow and escalating disagreements met with mod cautions.

    Now NOTHING!!

Can I here and now ask, publicly, the mods to at least attempt to kerb the actions of a certain newby who is disrupting this board, not with reasoned debate but with pure antagonistic bollox.

Giving me a Yellow for the bollox comment might be a start!!

Nothing has changed Rob its just that rules are applied equally. If you have any examples post the link on here but remember it will cut both ways with others.

As for the bollox comment if the swear filter doesn't handle it then that's a site issue. It if you put a 0 or something to try and circumvent a filter.

I know one poster is annoying others. If they keep spamming action will be taken.

Baiting and provocating is also ban offences. That's what HQ says, I didn't make it up.
And to be fair some of you clearly are, in order to get him to respond and thus get caught in the spamming offence.

    It does cut both ways.
From what I see if he's banned, he can claim bias.
Why all the fuss, just live and let live, if not ignore.

He's free to. But will end up talking to himself.

On another topic, now I'm kinda worried we're not gonna have the 2 derbies next season.

    Hey Rattea,
Nothing wrong with rules being applied equally, it's just I don't see they are being applied at all.

Do I really need to point out actual examples of the the constant spamming and answering legitimate posts with incendary comments, nothing to do with the subject, just infantile rubbish that certain individuals post?

I have been looking at the board without posting much for months now. I don't want to have to ignore someone who is deliberately contributing nothing of interest but replying to everything. Is that not the definition of spamming??

I used to enjoy your jousting with certain members but it was around the topic, not stupid, childish crap.

Can I turn your question around and you give me examples of a single post that hasn't been effectively ruined by our latest active, but without much to say, member??
