    Which club this time around...

.....are we most likely to lose out to when it comes to bringing players in? Last time it was the phrase "....gone to Barnsley..." that recurred.

This time, I'll go for...."signed for Wigan"

    others?

Not too much of a bad thing if we lose out on players to the likes of Wigan or Blackburn, if we lose out to Donny and Scunny then it's time to pack in.

That's a worry isn't it, will players be put off by the management team or will the facilities at NYS (not the training ground ) be enough for them to put pen to paper.

    Forget the money bit

Oh and we might want to throw a towel in the deal just on case

we wont be loosing out to many league 1 teams this season. wigan have spent there parachute payments blacknurn are skint. pompy and oxford are the other end of the counrty..
warney has just got 6 good earning first team players off the books. who we signed when we were in the championship. poss between 30/40k per week there so im guessing that cash should buy a few decent bradshaw/bogle/watkin type players..

If we can shift on Blackstock,Broadfoot and Ball theres another 15/20k . Saying that if Broadfoot has got rid of that injury and is fit i can see him been one of the stand out defenders in this league

That would work well if we can get just one player like that at this level - do wonder which contracted players have been invited to look elsewhere...

outside of the main first team theres only blackstock, forde, price and belaid who would meet that criteria. maybe add yates..

My understanding is that Forde is our top assist for goals so perhaps keep him as he could do well in L1? Wonder if Belaid is worth trying out in midfield?

    DB - enough said

By the way, did you all notice we released Aidy White this week because hes been too injury prone although we are continuing to re-hab him until hes fit again. Was he this unlucky with injuries at Rotherham ?

He did have a few injuries when he was with us but Steve Evans bombed him out because he missed an absolute sitter in front of an open goal, can't remember who it was against.
I think his confidence was shattered after that and he was glad to get the move to Barnsley.
