The League Thinking of ***k Squad Rule

Looks good..... on paper. But will it make any difference, full or weak, strong or youth, if they are told to just go have a kickabout?

Just a way for the league to cover their arses.

Tricky one to enforce I'd say , however if we had been Blackburn everyone would be seething on here!
Huddersfield's usual side would most likely got a result at Brum
I suppose any team making 6 or more changes would need to explain their reasons proir to the match taking place or face 6 points deduction

Points deduction would make it work. But I suspect the league only wants money hence they'll just fine the clubs

As eddy says...very difficult to enforce. Feel sorry for Blackburn but who's to define what is a 'strongest team'? A team full of youngsters/reserves with something to choose might well be stronger than the first choices who are 'sitting back' and avoiding injury knowing they have a harder game coming up. If managers want to hide/rest players they'll find a way. What goes around...
