Thread: North stand

    North stand

This may or may not have been mentioned elsewhere on the board? The atmosphere in the north stand has been as flat as a fart at home games this season. I think I heard one half @rsed rendition of 'come on you reds' when we got a corner against Charlton. Even while we were hammering Southend it was embarrassingly quiet. Come on lads n' lasses, our lads need some backing every now and then, sing up!

I agree it's as poor as our performance on the pitch

Morgue like, last season really knocked the stuffing out of everyone, no enthusiasm at the moment, and tbh I think we were all bewildered at the Southend game lol.UTM!! Even the fans have now locked in to the losing mentality peeps.

Thought the Southend game was a half decent atmosphere and was louder than most last season but yesterday was very quite understandably with performance on the pitch. Also Miller Bear still doesn't seem to realize from last season that nobody is interesting in chanting to the well out of date song apart from a few 4 years olds, just laughable and embarrassing.

I believe most of the people in the East Stand may well be, or may as well as be.

So north stand (kop) isn't where the singers generally go then?

    It's a library

What is there to cheer and shout about, albeit I understand the Southend game had a better atmosphere, but other than that what is there to excite any other part of the ground?

The crowd need to be entertained to gain their interest and passion to wish to join in singing/urging the team along.
