Is it wrong to dislike cats?

I have a client who loves her cat. When I call , I walk past the cat only to be told 'Kimbo is waiting for you to say hello'

So I have to make a fuss of her cat before I can get on with what I came for.

Am I wrong in disliking the cat?

Cats are useful if you have mice but I'm allergic to them and see little benefit from them otherwise. As BT says quite a lot of birds get killed by them. Many spend most of their time outside anyway.
