Cameron Jerome??
There are rumours on social media tonight saying we have bid or are preparing a late bid for Norwich striker Cameron Jerome.

You can't blame rowett for wanting to bring his own players in. Only problem is they all seem to be of a similar age!

this is not good news IMO, Jerome is in the same mould as Russell and Weimann, so cannot see the point, especially as we now have Williams.

We have too many strikers as it is and what good is Cameron Jerome going to be what Vydra, Nugent, Martin, Russell & Weimann aren't. He's a top striker in the EFL bags tons of goals for Norwich and was their top goal-scorer in previous seasons but he will find it hard to score goals and get assists from our midfield as the others have found out. Pointless signing not an area we need improving on and just a waste of £3m for a striker that's not badly needed.

We're also linked with David Davis from Brum. Don't know much about him but at least he's a midfielder and presumably someone who Rowett has worked with before.
Hope he's more use than the Brexit negotiator of the same name.
Gather Rowett is actually in Portugal - so it's rumoured - holiday or talent spotting...who knows?

Derby trying to offload Shackell & Butterfield before the window closes tomorrow so hopefully Derby will have a defender lined up potentially Aden Flint from Bristol City who was a potential signing during the summer and as for who to replace Butterfield we will have to wait and see.

Cameron Jerome has been brought up before during the summer and looked to be a potential target for Derby and with us supposedly putting a £3m bid in for him well sums it up really. Though we have enough strikers as it is, if Russell or Weimann was to be sold then I can see this move happening.
