    Shocking defending yesterday

We totally outplayed Bury yesterday and only managed to scrape a win.

The defending for the two goals was shocking.

I hope it's something we can sort out with the present players otherwise we will be in trouble.

If we can get the defence sorted we can be a promotion side.

We played some very good stuff yesterday although as usual missed too many chances.

Moore was tremendous but needs protection from the ref.

To get that the team need telling to keep mouthing off at the ref every time Moore gets clattered..free management advice Warney!

Goalkeeper?...Not sure...Maybe he was nervous but seemed hesitant on crosses in keeping with the majority of modern keepers..maybe it's the modern football that swings and moves too much compared to previous era.

I assume he is talented and will settle..we will have to see.

My view of Warne is changing,he seems to be getting them to play to strengths with a nice mix of long ball combined with some fast passing football.

Sort the defence and promotion beckons.

Defence has always been our achilles heel. Just hope they gel quickly, as for our keepers OD and Price not good enough, lets hope the newby settles real soon. UTM!!

Rodak: I want to see him command his area. I don't like keepers who stop on there line, then centre backs have got to win nearly every ball & when they do have got to clear it out of danger. Defence: Cummings was injured early on. Vaulks can play right back but needs games there to get it right. Purrington was the weak link. Mattock has got to come back.

How would you know kempoo? You didn't go. 😋

I've said it before. when warne sets up to attack we are always going to leave the back 4 at risk. Sometimes back 3 as he likes the fullbacks to bomb on
When we don't score or score enough like Vs Fleetwood Peterborough, Charlton it's always going to be tough...
    Exciting footy though init

My very good friend Zilzal went and he phoned a full match report within minutes of the final whistle.

Frankly I don't care if we get promoted, make the play offs or finish mid-table this season. The games against Bury and Peterboro have been 2 of the most entertaining games I have seen and I am enjoying watching football again. Hopefully we look like we are finally breaking free of that 'losing mentality' and we should have a very entertaining season with at least as many highs as lows!
